Learning to heal yourself (and others) using herbal medicine is one of the most empowering things you can do. But the leap from basic plant knowledge to feeling confident enough to actually use those plants effectively might as well span the Grand Canyon.

My students kept saying, after rapid-fire plant walks or seeing my social videos: "This is so cool buuuut I don't feel confident taking what I learned and really using it."

I heard you. There is a massive gap from first learning about a plant to actually utilizing it when you need it.

So I built this program — a bridge — grounded in 17 years of clinical experience, medicine making, and research into the phytopharmacology of herbal medicines. The goal is simple: usher you from curious to confident, one plant at a time, in community, with mentorship.

I'm a Clinical/Functional Herbalist, Registered Herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild, Certified Aromatherapist, Master Gardener, medicine maker, forager of 17 years, and clinician of 9 years.

My passion is distilling everything I've learned about herbal medicine into something you can actually understand and use. Because I'm a firm believer that one of the best ways to truly become proficient at herbalism is to deep dive one plant at a time.

I'm based in Central Alabama (Mvskokē Territory), and I teach from this place but my students are everywhere from New Zealand to British Columbia, and the plant relationships we build translate wherever you live.

Would an upgraded kit be more beneficial?

Absolutely! Our Subscription + Kit offers more than just the monthly monograph. It includes a curated kit with tinctures, teas, and other preparations — letting you taste well-made medicine, experience the plant as you learn about it (which is invaluable), and build a real medicine chest for when health hiccups come your way. Slots are limited, so grab yours while spots are available.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes! To make changes, email support@deeprootsherbschool.com and our support team will help you out.

When will I receive my kit after purchasing?

We finalize the shipment list in the last week of each month and deliver kits in the first (sometimes second) week of the following month, or before the Monthly Online Zoom class. If you purchase after the shipment list is finalized, you'll receive your kit the following month.

Can I access previous class materials and recordings?

Yes! Subscribers have access to all previous plant materials, class replays, and past complimentary webinar replays. We don't currently provide kits for previous plants taught in the subscription.

Can I register for specific months based on the plants I want to learn?

Yes, you can register for specific months. Please note that scheduled plants are subject to change based on the availability of source materials.
