Plant Walks at Moss Rock
Monthly herbal walks in Hoover with Clinical Herbalist Cameron Strouss. Sign up and I'll let you know when the next one is on the calendar.
A slow walk in the woods, with a lot of stopping to look at things
Once a month, I head out to Moss Rock Nature Preserve with anyone who wants to come along. We walk the trails and talk about the medicines of the season: what's growing right now, how to recognize it, and what it's actually good for.
It's part foraging, part herbal medicine, and part me getting genuinely excited about plants most people walk right past. Fair warning: I will stop mid-trail to show you something growing next to a rock.
